Revilla calls Dr. Kho ‘maniac’, ‘predator’

MANILA, Philippines—“Manyak,” “predator” and a “pervert of the highest kind” were how Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. described Dr. Hayden Kho, who was allegedly caught on video doing “explicit sexual acts” with a young actress.

Taking the floor on Tuesday, Revilla strongly condemned the uploading on the internet of Kho’s sex video with the young actress, whom the senator declined to identify.

The sex video, Revilla said, was different from the first video, involving the same personalities that came out last week. A video on YouTube shows what appeared to be Kho and sexy actress Katrina Halili doing dirty dancing.

“I have also been informed that there are at least two other sex videos involving the same man with other women. These videos show explicit sexual acts and were obviously taken without the consent of the woman,” he said in a privilege speech.

“Sobrang laswa po ng video at sobrang kababuyan at pagyuyurak sa dangal ng babae ang nilalaman nito,” he said.

Revilla said Kho was behind the videos’ release of the video.

The senator described the doctor as a “pervert of the highest kind” and a “predator who has neither conscience nor respect for women.”

Revilla said he was not incensed because of the acts on the video itself but at how Kho victimized the women, taking advantage of her trust, confidence and emotions.

“Ngayon Mr. President, ang babaeng kanyang biniktima ay nasa state of depression na, Hindi na po makalabas ng bahay. Kawawa naman,” he said.

“Ang nakakalungkot pa nito, Mr President, itong babae pa mismo, these past weeks ang naririnig natin na nagso-sorry. Pero ni minsan, itong manyak na ito ay hindi humingi ng paumanhin,” Revilla said.

Revilla said he has already asked the Professional Regulatory Commission to revoke the license of Kho and perpetually ban him from the practice of medicine.

“He has no right to treat patients just knowing his state of mind fully well. Paano mo ipagkakatiwala ang anak mong babae sa ganitong doktor?” he asked.

“Hindi sya marunong gumalang sa mga kababaihan. Para bang wala s’yang nanay o mga kapatid na babae. If you ask me, wala sa tamang pag iisip ang taong ito and according to the Medical Act, this doctor can also be punished for insanity,” he said.

“Buwang itong doktor na ito. Baliw, Mr President ,” he further said.

Revilla then pushed for the immediate passage of a bill against voyeurism as well as punishing internet service providers, which allow the uploading of such sex videos.

The senator, himself an actor, refused to accept questions from his colleagues.
